Mackenzie Cavagnaro 

Music Theatre Teacher

Mackenzie is an actor, singer, and performer based in New York City. She is currently a third year student at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studies under the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She has appeared in shows with A Work of Heart Productions, such as Enid Hoops in Legally Blonde, and Marvalyn in Almost Maine. Mackenzie has also appeared in the background of several movies and tv shows, such as Let the Right One in, City on Fire, B-Loved, Retreat, and Nothing, Except Everything. She is Co-President of Comic Sans, NYU’s Premier Sketch Comedy Troupe, where she serves as a sketch writer and performer. Having first experienced the arts at a young age, she is passionate about teaching the next generation about the power of creating through the performing arts. She has interned for public schools within New York City, teaching drama to students who don’t have access to theatre as well as theatre education. She is ecstatic about working for Ady Art Center and is excited to get to work! ​
