Isabella Becchi
Ballet Instructor Isabella Becchi, originally from New Jersey, has been dancing since she was three years old. This past season she danced with the Charlottesville Ballet as a trainee and attended the University of Virginia. While there, she performed in a variety of classical and contemporary pieces and performed leading roles such as Clara in the nutcracker. She received her training at New Jersey Ballet, The Kirov Academy, and Ballet Central New Jersey. She has also been invited to and attended summer programs across the country and internationally. Some of the programs include Philadelphia ballet, Boston ballet, The Russian Masters Ballet official courses of the Vaganova Academy, and the Royal Danish Ballet. Next year she will be joining Ballet de Catalunya in Spain. In addition to her dance training, Isabella trained until the age of 14 as a figure skater and won numerous awards. She has also trained with stretch coaches from the Flexibility Academy/Freedom Rhythmic Gymnastics and has taught flexibility privates to ballet students. |
