Gabby Meza

​Dance Instructor

Gabby Meza (she/her), a New Jersey native, graduated from Montclair State University in 2023 with a BFA in Dance. Aside from her recreational studio beginnings, her early training included pre-professional summer intensives in New Jersey and New York with Ballet Hispánico, where she studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Flamenco.
​Meza later expanded her artistry abroad in Barcelona studying Gaga and continued her development through local workshops with Carolyn Dorfman, Doug Varone, and Frederick Earl Mosley.
Drawing from her cultural background and experience as a Zumba instructor, Meza is well‑versed in Latin and Afro rhythms including Cumbia, Soca, Reggaeton, Samba, Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. 
After graduation, her dance journey continued through Arthur Murray, where she trained for professional ballroom competitions taking place in Chicago, Vegas and Washington DC. Meza performed at numerous studio events and taught all styles of Social, Latin, and Ballroom dance such as Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Bolero, East and West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Argentine Tango.
Meza has performed in concert works by Michelle Manzanales, Stefanie Batten Bland, Amina Kolenc, and Maxine Steinman, and commercial works with Derrick Matthew Garcia and Robert Taylor Jr.
Years of exposure to different genres of dance has cultivated a unique style in Meza’s choreography. She has created a variety of pieces ranging in levels from beginner to advanced, varying in genres from ballet to hip hop, and spanning in size from solos to partnered duets to productions for local dance studio recitals, competitions and other special events like weddings and quinceañeras. 
With nearly ten years of teaching experience, Meza has dedicated herself to sharing the joy of dance with students of all ages and continues to look forward to her next performance opportunity!
