Clarinda Lin
Piano & Music Theory Teacher Clarinda Lin graduated from Montclair State University in Bachelor degree studying music composition and piano. She studied piano with Dr. Joanna Polk, Dr. Magdalena Baczewska, and Dr. Mark Pakman. She graduated Summa Cum Laude winning “Outstanding Undergraduate Composer Award.” She was enlisted in several other awards in the chorale competitions held by MSU. Additionally, she was the winner of the composition contests held by New Jersey Art Collective for consecutive two years. Clarinda Lin focuses on using the right way to play piano to avoid injuries. Her rich experiences in teaching piano help the students to develop musical and technical performance in a systematic way. Several students won the first place in the piano competition and passed ABRSM test with high scores in the Merit or Distinction categories. |
