Christina Paolucci
Classic Ballet Instructor Christina Paolucci is a passionate and committed instructor of safe and properly executed classical ballet technique. She grew up in Boston, MA and trained at Boston Ballet School, performing with Boston Ballet while still in high school. After graduating from Juilliard with a BFA in dance, she joined New York Theatre Ballet, the most widely seen chamber ballet company in the United States, performing principal roles in the company’s repertory. In addition to guest appearances with other companies, she performed in 49 states during her performing career. Christina was artistic associate of The Tallahassee Ballet and is the former Executive Director of New York Theatre Ballet. She has staged ballets, commissioned new choreography, and provided successful artistic and fundraising consultation to emerging dancers, dance companies and aspiring choreographers. She held a long-standing senior faculty position at Ballet School NY and currently lives in New Jersey. She is on the faculty of West Side Dance Center and is an Adjunct Professor of ballet at County College of Morris and Montclair State University. Christina’s love of dance and experience teaching ballet to all ages, has given her the opportunity to conduct master classes across the country and advise dancers to strive to be their best. She is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and is a StretchSource™ Master Trainer. |
