Carol Baumgartner

Creative Dance Teacher

Miss Carol received her B.S. and M.A. degrees in Physical and Health Education from Montclair State College.
She is a NJ certified teacher K-12.
She also hold certifications in pre-school dance, adapted physical education, personal training, CPR and First Aid.
Miss Carol worked at the Madison Area YMCA for 29 years.
She was the Dance Coordinator for 6 years before becoming the Dance Director Department at the Madison Area YMCA for another 10 years.
Miss Carol also taught Aerobic Dance and Fitness classes at the Y for the entire time she was employed there for 29 years. 
After retiring from YMCA, she has been with Inner Grace Dance Studio for over 10 years.
Miss Carol has taught at Hudson Way Immersion School for several years in addition to several local Pre-school , Nursery Schools and libraries. She has also taught dance and fitness at many local schools K-5th grade. 
Miss Carol is most famous for her creative birthday parties. She started doing birthday parties in high school and has continued through her entire career.
She has done over 900 birthday parties!
Carol is best known for her Creative Movement classes as well as her famous tea parties.
The creativity and themes she uses teaching Creative Movement is unparalleled and she is excited to begin on her new path teaching at Ady Art Center.
